The purpose of the CHS Football Booster Board is to assist in creating a passionate and enthusiastic atmosphere within the Cougar Football program to include parents, players, coaches, students, and our surrounding community.

We are committed to helping develop the most competitive football program possible while exhibiting good sportsmanship and representation of Cibola High School.

We provide financial support by fundraising events. We create a positive image of Cougar Football that draws athletes, students, parents and sponsorships to our exemplary football program.

BOOSTER CLUB MEMBER DESCRIPTIONS
 
PRESIDENT - The President shall preside at all board and general meetings, shall oversee Club activities, and shall manage and coordinate all fund raising activities.

VICE PRESIDENT - The Vice President shall preside at all board and general meetings in the absence of the President, shall oversee Club activities, and shall manage and coordinate all fund raising activities.
 
SECRETARY- The secretary shall keep records of all the proceedings of the Club and provide summaries of such proceedings. Copies of meeting summaries must be on file in the principal’s office within one week of each meeting.
 
TREASURER - The Treasurer is entrusted with the funds of the Club and shall receive and dispense monies in accordance with these bylaws. The Treasurer shall present a current financial statement at each meeting. An end-of-year financial statement will be presented to the principal by July 1st of each year.
 
Team LIAISON- Is responsible for disseminating information to the players and parents (phone trees, etc.) and organizing parent volunteers for the chain crew, newsletter distribution, head coach’s special requests, and club projects. The Team Liaisons are under the direction of, and report to the Vice President. They will also form a group to help with feedings for the players. This includes shopping and preparing pregame meals, collect money, assist fundraising coordinator with all material needing to be handed out

WEBMASTER  - The webmaster is in charge of keeping the Cibola football website up to date, including important forms, dates to remember, upcoming events, team history, etc.

SOCIAL NETWORKING COORDINATOR - This person posts exciting information that promotes the program and the Cibola school community. Another responsibility is to monitor Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and any other social media site for players who are not in compliance with our social media policy as well as in other information put out that may be detrimental to the character of our program.


CIBOLA FOOTBALL FUNDRAISING COMMITTEES

Drawing Fundraiser Manager - Under the direction of the Vice President and Treasurer, the manager will coordinate the drawing fundraiser from start to finish.  Duties include, but are not limited to acquiring gifts for the drawing, having drawing tickets printed for distribution, and organizing all volunteers.

Cougar Country Car Wash Manager - Under the direction of the Vice President and Treasurer, the manager will work in conjunction with the Head Coach.  Duties include, but are not limited to organizing documents, retrieving equipment needed for the car wash, and organizing volunteers.

Youth Camp Manager - Under the direction of the Vice President and Treasurer, the manager will work in conjunction with the Head Coach.  Duties include, but are not limited to reaching out to ALL YOUTH FOOTBALL PROGRAMS, distributing fliers, organizing volunteers, and updating registrant numbers to the Head Coach and the Vice President. The primary goal of the manager and committee is to get 100 or more registrants for the camp.

Kick-Off BBQ Manager - Under the direction of the Vice President and Treasurer, the manager will coordinate the planning and implantation of the football program's kick-off BBQ.  Duties include, but are not limited to planning menus, shopping for food, setting up/tearing down structures used during the BBQ, clean-up, and organizing volunteers.

Senior Night Manager - Under the direction of the Vice President and Treasurer, the manager will coordinate with Senior parents about walking out with their Senior player during a designated football game.  Duties include, but are not limited to reaching out to Senior players and parents, distributing information regarding all necessary information, and organizing volunteers.
 
Banquet Manager - Under the direction of the Vice President and Treasurer, the manager will coordinate the end-of-the-year banquet for the entire football program.  Duties include, but are not limited to securing a location, planning menus, organizing food, setting up/tearing down decorations, maintaining an updated list of RSVP, notifying players/parents of banquet dues, organizing player certificates, etc. and also organizing all volunteers.



GENERAL BOOSTER POSTIONS
 
TEAM POSTER COORDINATOR – The Team poster is a fundraiser we do each year that includes a picture of the Varsity, JV, and Freshman teams along with all of our sponsors.

VARSITY PHOTOGRAPHER – Take pictures and upload pictures to Shutterfly after each game.
 
JV PHOTOGRAPHER – Take pictures and upload pictures to Shutterfly after each game.

FRESHMEN PHOTOGRAPHER – Take pictures and upload pictures to Shutterfly after each game.
 
TEAM DAD(s) – Repairs/maintenance work on Waterboy’s, help improve facilities, help with football field grass maintenance, and general equipment upkeep.

INFLATABLE COUGAR HEAD MANAGER  – Take Cougar Head to ALL Varsity games. A tradition for each home game is to run out of the 30’ high Cibola giant Cougar. This is one of the fun extras used by our Cougars to get pumped for the game. (This position requires a truck for transport.)

PROGRAM GUIDE COORDINATOR- This person will put together a program that will promote Cibola football.

COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIP COORDINATOR - Help businesses renew their donations and or support, as well as present other options of support to the businesses. Acquire new business donations of any kind for the program. This may consist of banners on our fences, a business card on our Team poster, a spot on our website, etc…(options are presented on our sponsor letter).

FAN GEAR COORDINATOR - Organize Parents to sell Cibola Football gear at the games for each of the three levels.

ROSTER COORDINATOR - Design a roster Card or a player roster guide with player pictures, names, and numbers.
